Leadership

Lathan Peterson was voted in as Pastor of Little River Baptist Church in February, 2025. Preacher Lathan's main focus at LRBC is to feed, love, and lead the Lord's flock where he has been called to serve. He often reminds the church that there is no other place in the world that he'd rather serve at! 

Scotty Shook became chairman of the deacons at Little River Baptist Church in 2020. He has been faithfully serving in a deacon's position at LRBC since 2005. Scotty is dedicated to serving the church in so many ways. He is usually the first one there and the last one to leave. 

Joy Daniels has been faithfully serving as the Secretary/Treasurer at Little River Baptist Church since 2016 after the passing of her Mother, Esther White, who also served as Secretary for 30 years! Joy is dedicated to serving the Lord and always smiling! 

Suzanne Goble has been faithfully serving as the Church Clerk at Little River Baptist Church since 1994! She is certainly the backbone of the church and keeps us all in order! We love Suzanne and thank her for her many years of dedication! 

Kevin George is our Choir Director at Little River Baptist Church! He is faithful to his position and serves the church in many other capacities as well, including leading the church in congregational singing and organizing the special singing.  

Debbie Harrington faithfully serves as the Custodian at Little River Baptist Church! Mrs. Debbie is such a kind hearted lady and dedicated to her position! 

Abby Harrington faithfully serves as the Custodian at Little River Baptist Church! Like Mrs. Debbie, Abby is also a kind hearted lady and dedicated to her position! 

Pastor Lathan has been happily married to his wife, Kayla, since 2012. They have four beautiful children whose names are Carslyn, Japeth, Judah and Jebb.
